In Fall of 2002, a new intimate jazz club opened on the terrace of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC: The KC Jazz Club. The very first artist who performed there on September 5, 2000 was Mulgrew Miller. This is the first of two wonderful sets that were recorded that night.
